To the right of the font size (where you can type it in) you can click on the large 'A' to make the text bigger or on the small 'A' to make the text smaller. To the right of the underline button you can draw a line through the middle of the selected text. By clicking on the 'X' you have the ability to subscript or superscript the text. The button to the right of the 'X' which looks like this 'Aa' allows you to change the text to either uppercase, lowercase, or other common capitalizations.

To adjust the spacing of the text between lines, click on the lines with the arrow to the left and you can adjust to 1.0, 1.5, etc. The paint bucket allows you to create a colored background behind the text. The button next to the bucket allows you to create a bottom border. On the top three buttons starting from the left you can create bullets or numbering within the text. The two (top) middle buttons increase or decrease the indentation. The A-Z button alphabetizes selected data or puts it in numerical data.
